Millennials can relive a bit of 90s nostalgia one yellow spoonful at a time with the re-release of Banana Nesquik.

The milk flavour was last available in Australian supermarkets more than two decades ago and is the most asked about product in Nestle Australia’s flavoured beverage range.

Nestle head of marketing dairy Sid Kajale said banana flavour lovers would be excited about the nostalgic return of Banana Nesquik.

“Die-hard fans have been asking us to bring back this old-time favourite and we’ve heard you,” he said.

“Get in quick for this cult classics comeback”.

Consumers have taken to social media after spotting the product in Australian supermarkets.

Food reviewer @nectoriouspapi posted a video to TikTok telling his followers to head to Coles because banana Nesquik was back in a tin.

He said the product sold from retailers in a container were imported from the UK, but the tin variety were Australian made.

“Banana Nesquik is the best drink on this planet, I would turn down alcohol for banana Nesquik,” one person commented.

“I was so fricken excited when I saw this a couple of days ago. I didn’t even think twice about picking it up. It tastes the same as it used to. So good,” another person said.

“No doubt about it but this is the absolute best Nesquik flavour out there hands down, my own mother even makes ice cream out of it,” a person said.
