Aldi Australia has really upped its game for Christmas this year having launched its most luxurious range ever.

As of October 27, shoppers can get their hands on 21 premium products as part of the German retailer’s Curated Collection range – and prices start from as little as $3.99.

It includes such festive treats as a 30-month matured pudding, gingerbread fudge, buttery shortbread and indulgent honeycomb.

The decadent range is sourced locally from Aussie producers and leading brands around the world and, according to Aldi, it’s the most lavish Christmas collection the retailer has ever stocked.

“These products were carefully developed and curated in partnership with Aussie suppliers and those abroad, bringing together decadent flavours at the highest quality available so shoppers can be confident when picking out their holiday gifts and menus,” Aldi shopping expert Kylie Warnke said.

Prices start from just $3.99 for Mediterranean-style dukkah to the most expensive item, luxury wagyu biltong for $19.99.

If you’re wondering what the most popular of the lot is, it’s the 30-month matured pudding (907g), also for $19.99.

Ms Warnke described it as the “hero” of the range.

“Our 30-month matured pudding is definitely something extra decadent for our shoppers, and has been infused with rum, ruby port and the finest French Armagnac,” she said.

“We haven’t seen anything of this quality at this price point in Australia, and it really is the hero of this range.”

The “next level” 30-month matured pudding is from the UK, while the 10-month matured pudding ($14.99) was finished in the Hunter Region in NSW.

The $4.99 luxury fudge made in Yorkshire, UK, is also a standout, with the product coming in five different flavours – butter, clotted cream, gingerbread, salted caramel and Canadian maple.

“These are the perfect treat for sharing with loved ones and nibbling on during the festive period. They are also made to the perfect bite size pieces so would be kid-friendly.”

Elsewhere in the range you’ll find iced Christmas cake for $16.99 which are available in different sizes, $4.99 six-packs of buttery mince pies and roasted and salted mixed nuts for $12.99.

Shoppers can also get their hands on culinary gifts, with a selection of finishing vinegars, dukkah and Australian extra virgin olive oil.

“Not only are these products perfect for dressing those summer salads or to roast veggies or use in marinades, they make for thoughtful gifts,” Ms Warnke said.
