Global active entertainment giant Bounce will open its first Ipswich kids play centre in February.
The upcoming miniBounce was designed for children aged six months to six years old on a more than 350 sqm area in the Nicholas Street Precinct of Ipswich Central.
It will feature mini trampolines, a two-storey interactive play structure, oversized airbags, ball pits and slides, with tables and chairs in a cafe for parents to enjoy coffee or a meal while supervising their kids.
The second venue in Greater Brisbane will have more climb-involved adventurous elements after its first toddler adventure park was opened in Westfield Carindale nearly four years ago.
Bounce CEO Merissa Collins said it would create a unique space for local families.
“We’ve already seen fantastic success with our Southeast Queensland venues embracing the miniBounce model, and the Nicholas Street Precinct is a vibrant destination that aligns perfectly with what miniBounce is all about,” Ms Collins said.
“MiniBounce isn’t just about having fun – it’s about fostering motor skill development, socialisation, and confidence in a way that’s accessible and engaging for young children.
“Our aim is to help the freestylers of tomorrow to build skills, confidence and a lifelong love of active play. It’s about inspiring movement, creativity and joy in children, while providing families with a safe space to connect and create lasting memories.”
The company has 21 venues across Australia after the first trampoline park was launched in Melbourne in 2012. The brand also runs internationally in New Zealand, South Africa, India and the Middle East.
