And InStyle gave news.com.au this sneak peek into the issue:
MIRANDA KERR
“If I could say something to my younger self it would be, ‘It’s all [part of] an evolution. It doesn’t matter whether it’s positive or negative, it’s an evolution. Understand what the end goal. Life is about enjoying yourself and trying to make the most of moments. It’s nothing to get too serious about….
I feel like sometimes you can get too serious. Then it loses the fun and you have to wonder, ‘Well, what am I doing this all for?’”
ISABELLE LUCAS
“What would I say to my 15-year-old self? I would sit her down and remind her that it’s really okay to be yourself; in fact, it’s wonderful. We try to conform to fit someone else’s view but it’s your life—and you never know what’s around the bend.
It takes courage and vulnerability to be that true with yourself and with others.”
TERESA PALMER
On making action films: “They’re something I lean towards. I’m obsessed with getting my hands dirty and getting into the work. If my character is a warrior I want to transform myself to become a warrior. However, in [Point Break] we were doing such intense stunts in extreme situations and if you miss any point and your body lands awkwardly it can all be over.”
On working with her husband for their new film: “It had its challenges. I was so immersed in all sides of filmmaking, not just in front of [the camera] so I really just had to hand him the reigns and trust his vision as a director without trying to say my two cents as one of the producers. I wanted to give him the creative space to tell the story he wanted to. I really trust him and he’s such a beautiful, dynamic director and I knew what he was trying to achieve was going to be so profound. I honestly think my husband is a genius.”
