Brooke Bellamy, of Brooki Bakehouse, welcomes baby girl

Viral social media sensation Brooki Bakehouse opened a new store last week but its owners missed their own grand opening after a very special delivery arrived early.

It was the big opening day of Brooke Bellamy’s second Brooki Bakehouse store, but her daughter had other ideas.

Bellamy and her husband missed the store opening at the Brisbane Airport on September 20 when their first child made a dramatic early entrance to the world.

Bellamy apologised for missing the opening and shared with her adoring followers that she had gone into labour in the early hours of that morning, at exactly 39 weeks.

Only days before, Bellamy had discussed their plans for if Baby Brooki were to make her entrance early.

“So we open on Friday here at Brisbane Airport, and my baby due date is the following Friday so I’m just hoping that nothing happens out of line, but if it does, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it,” she said.

The couple took to Instagram again today to reveal they had chosen the name Colette Marie for their newest, and sweetest, creation, sharing also that they had now headed home from hospital.

The post was accompanied by a sweet photo of little Colette, looking snug and cosy, complete with Brooki-pink booties, as well as a series of snaps posted to Bellamy’s stories of their time in hospital and of Collette in a car seat.

One picture featured a sweet moment of skin-to-skin between Justice and Colette, and another of the newly-formed trio.
