BIG W’s Big Whopping Toy Sale is back and there's a retro toy parents will love

Parents, listen up. Your favourite time of the year is back! Big W's Big Whopping Toy Sale is dropping and just like every other year, there are some massive bargains on offer.
The sale officially kicks off on June 11th with online shoppers able to log on and snap up favourites virtually from 5am AEST, while eager beaver shoppers can head into store from 8am AEST.
Over 500 bargain toys will be on the shelves until July 10th, giving us all a month to stock up for Christmas. What's more, some of offerings will see savings of more than 50%!

What are the just-have toys?
To allow parents to plan their spending, the Aussie retailer released their catalogue of toys on May 31st and everyone behind the sale is excited to release the list of must-have items to people keen to stock up.
“BIG W’s annual toy event is one of the most anticipated toy sales on the calendar, with hundreds of thousands of customers stocking up on birthday and Christmas presents each year," BIG W's Chief Toy Buyer, Christine Faulkner said in a statement.
"We are continuing to ensure customers are getting great value with a range of big brand toys better than half price, as well as increasing our budget friendly Somersault range and unmissable offers across big ticket family items including gaming, tech and sporting & fitness items.”

But the one item that will have parents most excited - particularly those who grew up in the 80s and 90s - is the Furby Interactive Plush - Coral! The toy, which will give you all those nostalgic feels is on sale at $49, saving you a cheeky $51.

Of course, with the cost of living crisis not going away for Australians, Big W is also allowing customers to utilise payment solutions such as their $3 extended Layby for Christmas.
This offering allows customers to pay off their purchases over up to 20 weeks, so long as they're collected and paid for by 8th November 2024. Plenty of time to chip away at it before Santa arrives!

Shoppers are also able to earn Everyday Rewards points throughout the sale with some bonus points offered on some toys on sale, like a whopping 10K point bonus when purchasing the Star Wars TM Millennium Falcon or 10 x points on certain brands like LEGO Space and Gabby's Dollhouse.
