Here are a few of our favourite spots to get you started!

BLACK HIDE STEAKHOUSE, PETRIE TERRACE

Black Hide Steakhouse chefs know steak like the back of their hand. As the only restaurant in Queensland to serve a selection of world-class steak cuts from Australia’s most esteemed beef breeder, Stanbroke Beef, the restaurant’s meat quality is truly exceptional.

Matched with the perfect steak pairings and a selection of sauces, this place is total bliss for any meat eater.

THE NORMAN HOTEL, WOOLLOONGABBA

Branded as “Brisbane’s worst vegetarian restaurant,” the Norman Hotel is certainly up there as one of Brisbane’s best steak restaurants. Established in 1889, this place has had a bit of practice on how to cook the perfect steak- and oh boy have they got it right. Boasting an impressive menu of pre-cut steaks, the hotel also gives diners the option to select their own cut and weigh from their daily meat cabinet.

LES BUBBLES, FORTITUDE VALLEY

Don’t let the menu fool you! Les Bubbles may have the shortest menu on our list, but it means they‘ve become masters of meat, exclusively delivering their delectable Steak Frites dish to all diners. Steak, served with a side salad and bottomless fries proves that in this case, less is undoubtedly more.
