Dog Trained to Give Hugs on Command Will Warm Your Heart

FINDING the perfect park for your pooch can be a difficult task but we’re on the hunt to crown Brisbane’s best dog park. Do you know somewhere?

NOMINATE YOUR FAVOURITE IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!

We will compile a shortlist from the nominations after they close on Monday, December 2, with the vote then running until 10am Monday, December 9 with the top 10 revealed at couriermail.com.au on Thursday, December 12.

Here are three of our favourites:

1. Dorrington Park, Ashgrove

With a cafe and playground nearby, Dorrington Park in Ashgrove is a hot favourite among locals. With fencing along the river and plenty of space between the road and cars, this park is sure to keep your pup entertained for hours.

2. Powerhouse Park, New Farm

Flanked by the Powerhouse and the river, this park is one of the best for dog owners in the city. Markets at the Powerhouse on the weekend and nearby cafes make for a perfect weekend adventure.

For those wanting the best of both worlds, Nudgee Beach Off Leash Park offers a dedicated dog swimming area along with beautiful views.
