“What sets Just Knead It apart is that once we’ve seen you … we want to get you on the road to recovery as quickly as possible, so we don’t see you again,” owner Kat Murray said.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and spent ten years in the fitness industry before venturing on my massage journey in 2012. I have also been coaching endurance sports (Ironman triathlon and running) and participating in them at a high level for almost 15 years. I know how to get people moving again who have either been sidelined with injury or just want to feel better from chronic pain. I have personally suffered through chronic migraine pain, sports injuries, been overworked and overwhelmed, and can always find a way to connect with people. I feel my life purpose is to help people. I know what to say to someone who’s struggling mentally and seeking a massage to feel better. The experience goes way beyond just giving a massage. I give nutrition advice, exercise advice, life advice, you name it, if there’s a way I can help I will.”

Body in Sync Remedial Massage is a small business focused on getting people out of pain and moving freely again. We have a broad client base including office workers, tradies, nurses, teachers and have recently become the go to clinic in the area for powerlifters, crossfitters and bodybuilders. Our treatments consist of deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, dry needling, cupping and PNF stretching to achieve the best results. Michael Wilhelmsen is the business owner with over five years experience in remedial massage and has worked with many professional athletes and sport teams most recently the Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Cycling Team. Michael has been very fortunate to work in other great clinics and has learned a lot from the therapists that he worked with. I think what sets us apart is actually listening to the clients’ concerns, testing to try to figure out the problem areas and treating those areas until there is noticeable improvement. This phase was then followed by the desire to acquire more knowledge, by which I completed Diplomas in Nutrition, Nursing, and Massage. Little did I realise at the given time, these outwardly dissimilar accomplishments, would harmoniously merge to enhance the quality of service I provide to my clients. My business is unique in that, I also provide massage services to many post-operative clients and work closely with Surgeons in both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
