Run by twin sisters Amber and Cynamon Norris, the coffee haunt has become an integral brunch spot in Daisy Hill. From specialty coffee to vegan and gluten free options, St Coco’s has a meal for everyone, especially in the realm of smoothies. Offering Australian staple inspired drinks options include the Cherry Ripe and a Mango Weiss.

Situated in a once derelict cottage, the Toowong based cafe now boasts some of the best smoothies west of the city. Offering classics such as banana, mango and strawberry, the quaint cafe is also setting the trend with new wave acai smoothies.

A West End staple, the Fat Carrot offers fresh juices on demand alongside their signature smoothies. Blends include the ‘Mozzie’, a concoction of mango, strawberry, ice cream and orange, and the shops iconic ‘Fat Carrot’, a blend of carrot, banana, yoghurt and honey.

Based out of the ABC building in South Bank, these acai specialists are helping to propel the new smoothie trend across Brisbane. Offering an array of health conscious treats, blends include the ‘Berry Big Buzz’ and the ‘Choc Mousse’ — a mixture of acai, avocado and cacao powder.

One of Brisbane’s most established cafe’s, Anouk in Paddington has been serving up scrumptious smoothies since 2007. Boasting classics such as strawberry and mango passionfruit, the cafe also has some more adventurous blends including a banana, maple and cinnamon smoothie.

The outdoor foodvan cafe has become one of the south side’s favourite eateries. The dog friendly spot offers some great smoothie options including a dairy free ‘fruit tingle’ made of strawberry, pineapple, honey, apple juice and ice. The peanut butter acai smoothie is also a big crowd pleaser.

Founded by mates Candice Roat and Mellita Rayner, Coco Bliss has been offering refined sugar free foods and promoting healthy eating since 2013. Offering an abundance smoothies, acai and protein bowls, some standouts include the apple crumble, tiramisu and white choc raspberry.
