Brisbane is a city super passionate about their burgers and after calling for nominations and putting out the vote to our readers, we can now reveal the top 10 best burger bars you voted for.

Get a taste of America but with a laid back Aussie feel at this Brisbane burger bar.

Brisbane’s new burger kid on the block is making serious moves and quickly gaining a reputation after opening a few weeks ago.

Though the On It crew may still be finding their feet, that hasn’t stopped them from making the best possible product every time and making sure every customer leaves feeling satisfied.

This Kenmore concept restaurant offers burgers using grass-fed and prime beef patties, buttermilk chicken breast, and Beyond meat vegan patties to create a tasty selection of burgers well-loved by meat eaters and plant-based eaters alike.

You may have guessed from its name but Mac From Way Back is Brisbane’s dedicated mac and cheese eatery specialising in American-style eats like mac ‘n cheese, burgers, and deep dish pizza.

What was once a little Beenleigh hole-in-the-wall pop-up and then one of Brisbane’s favourite food truck now is a fully-fledged eatery with a permanent spot in Woolloongabba.

Their smashed beef patties and potato roll buns are unmistakeable features of their mouth-watering burgers and make them some of Brisbane’s absolute favourite.

With monthly specials like June’s braised rosemary lamb and fried chicken burger with beetroot feta, harissa jap mayo and pickles, there’s always something new and exciting happening in-store! Not to mention their $10 double smashies and chicken burgers available every Tuesday!

You won’t find any broken hearts at this burger joint as Broken Hearts Burger Club has the power to cure just about everything.

There are no crazy burger names in sight as they like to keep things simple with their six burgers, which are variations of their ‘Classic Single’ (smashed beef patty, pickles, cheese, BHBC special sauce) and ‘Fancy Single’ (smashed beef patty, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles and BHBC special sauce) with extra patties and cheese.

Though they have no specific secret menu, word on the street is that there’s always a little something that might go well with one of their burgers (like the spiciest of locally sourced hot sauces). There’s also their special Biscoff shake, which is their worst kept secret and is the best accompaniment to wash down a burger or fries.

After being voted Brisbane’s best burger joint last year, this local favourite is back on our list but not only on Miller – they’re also on the road with the Benz Food Truck, which means more South East Queensland mouths get to taste all the burger goodness Benz on Miller has to offer.

With a cool new menu and everything from sauces to patties, pickles and fried chicken made in-store, people love supporting this Brisbane gem.

If you’re unsure of what to order, customers swear by the Sweet Baby Jeebus, which is arguably “Brisbane’s best fried chicken burger” that features bourbon-maple glazed fried chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce and Frank’s mayo.

This Mansfield hole-in-the-wall cafe may be an unlikely spot to grab a great burger but locals absolutely love to visit The Coffee Nook for their lunchtime feeds.

They offer a juicy handmade beef burger made with a thick beef patty, caramelised onion, Swiss cheese, tomato, fancy lettuce, and sauce.

For all of the early risers, their Breaky Sliders feature smoky bacon, fried egg, gruyere cheese, spinach and house made tomato relish on a brioche bun and will hit your burger cravings first thing in the morning.

Ze Pickle has been crowned Brisbane’s best burger shop by our readers and if you’re unsure why, with their cult following, a burger lover anywhere in SEQ could tell you why.

The slogan “often imitated never duplicated” was given to them early on by diehard Ze Pickle fans and it’s stuck ever since.

Their carefully curated menu of funky-named burgers uses the best produce available and is consistently made to give their guests the best larger-than-life burgers and dining experience.

Some of the burgers you’ll find are Ya Mum, Pablo, Kanye’s Mum, Mash Mash City Bish, and I’m That Vego Friend that all feature an array of gourmet and downright delicious ingredients that include but are not limited to ipa beer cheeze sauce, truffle butter, smoked jalapeños, fried onion straws and their special ZP sauce.
