As the weather cools down, nothing says comfort like a delicious hot brunch with no prep work and no dishes to do once you’ve eaten.
We asked you to nominate and vote for the cafe you think cooks and serves up the best brunch in Greater Brisbane and we can now reveal our winners!
10. Ninebar + Kitchen, Coorparoo

After winning the Southside’s favourite brunch spot, Ninebar + Kitchen has also been voted one of Greater Brisbane’s very best.
The cafe known for their great Fonzie Abbott coffees and beautiful location has a fantastic all day breakfast and lunch menu.
For something on the sweeter side of life, their weekend specials often feature something like next-level pancakes or french toast. Their range of beautiful salads like their Harissa Spiced Chicken or Salmon Nicoise Salad are great health-conscious options.
Of course, you’ll also be able to order all your favourite menu items like eggs benny, acai bowls, Ninebar’s Brekkie Burger, and Big Breakfast whenever you want, which means you don’t have to give up your Saturday sleep-in.
9. Willes Fine Foods, Bulimba

A true Bulimba establishment, this family owned and operated cafe on Oxford Street has been serving up great food and drink to people all around Greater Brisbane for over 30 years, so it comes as no surprise they’re one of the city’s favourite places to go for brunch any day of the week.
With friendly service and some of the most affordable and delicious meals around, whether you’re after something light and easy or heavy and filling, there’s a brunch option for everybody.
Along with their popular $10 breakfast special, they’ve got loads of brunch options for just $12.50 like a breakfast wrap, savoury mince, lambs fry, or veggie stack. For something on the fuller side, try their Smoked Salmon or Mega Breakfast.

The Little Black Pug team are all about keeping things fun and fresh, which means their menu items change to suit the fresh produce available and offer customers a chance to try something they’ve never tried before.

Owned and operated by celebrity chef Ben O’Donoghue & De-arne Wicks, Billykart’s spectacular seasonal all-day menu has put them on the map as one of Brisbane’s best brunch hot spots.
Think house-made crumpets, loaded poached eggs with bacon jam and cheese sauce, twice baked goats curd soufflé‘s, and an array of gourmet sandwiches and burgers.
Not only are all their meals and counter goods freshly made in the restaurant, Billykart also creates their own butters, jams and condiments so you know you’re getting the good stuff.

Tucked in the suburbs, Dovetail Social is absolute brunch heaven for anyone gluten-free and coeliac.
From classics like their Bacon and Egg Sandwich, Avo on Sourdough, Baked Eggs #7 to their special Adobo Bowl and Cochinta Pibil Tortilla, every dish on their menu can be made gluten-free.
If you’re not in the mood for a hot brunch, maybe one of the doughnuts or other homemade desserts from this Filipino-Australian cafe and bakery will tickle your fancy.

Friends and families love to gather at Merthyr Village’s New Farm Deli & Cafe for a lazy weekend brunch thanks to their warm atmosphere, great coffee and delectable menu.
Take a quick trip to Italy by ordering the Italiano, which includes prosciutto slices, fior di latte, fresh tomato, a drizzle of pesto and poached eggs with toasted ciabatta, or try The Sicilian Brekky that comes with morsels of Sicilian-style pork and fennel sausage sauteed with a delicious ‘caponata’ of roasted capsicum, onion, spinach & potato and is topped with poached eggs on toast.
Their extensive menu features many cafe classics with an Italian twist and is served with good old-fashioned quality service.

Farm House strives to bring beautiful fresh food from farm to your table while keeping the integrity of the ingredients so that you and your loved ones have a memorable gastronomical experience whenever you dine with them.
Tasty brunch dishes at this local cafe include The Original Breakfast Gnocchi served with Farmhouse arrabiatta sauce, thick cut bacon, mild chilli, baby spinach, parmesan and a soft poached free range egg, their One Pan Ricotta Hotcake served with raspberry mascarpone, peach syrup, fresh berries, hazelnuts and mint, and their big Rouseabout Breakfast – crispy cheesy potato cake, bacon, fresh hollandaise, poached eggs, avocado and marinated mushrooms on single origin sourdough toast.

This tea and coffee specialist has been voted one of Brisbane’s best brunch haunts and with its vibrant atmosphere, amazing service, superb food and drinks, it’s easy to see why.
For parties larger than one and wanting to have the ultimate brunch experience, the D&D Double Decker is a tower of pleasure that is double the fun with a mass of sweet and savoury goodies to be consumed. You’ll get corn and zucchini fritters, potato rostis, eggs of your choice, bacon, avocado, haloumi and rocket on toasted sourdough, as well as their signature sweet waffle with toasted macadamias, house-made caramel fudge sauce and vanilla bean ice-cream lightly dusted in sugar.
If you don’t intend on sharing, maybe The Drifter Woman – house-made potato rostis topped with onion marmalade and served with streaky bacon rashers, two eggs your way, fresh spinach and chives or the First Crack – savoury cheese and chive waffle served with bacon, grilled tomatoes, rocket, hickory smoked honey, cream cheese and chives is more your style.
