After a competitive voting period, we can now reveal the top 10 babies deemed way too adorable by our readers.
10. Carter McHale
Suburb: Ashmore
Entry age: 1 month
What his parents said: His nickname is “Wormy” for a very good reason – for a newborn, he can certainly wiggle his way out of any sort of restraints (like a swaddle). He spent a week in the special-care unit of GCUH when he was born – little guy did not want to be born and was completely content with staying past 42 weeks gestation – born 9lb 2oz and via an emergency C-section. He has given us the biggest smiles from a few days old, which made our hospital stay just that little bit brighter.
9. Lawson Singh
Suburb: Heritage Park
Entry age: 3 months
What his parents said: Lawson is the cheekiest, he absolutely loves to charm people with his smile and giggles and loves blowing raspberries at anytime of day. He loves to wake in the morning with the loudest yawn I’ve ever heard from a little person, and we are always greeted with a smile.
8. Lincoln Benjamin Stephen Jones
Suburb: Giru
Entry age: 1
What his parents said: Lincoln loves reading, water, dinosaurs, cars & trucks, his ‘motorbike’, Bluey and chocolate!
7. Morgan Hamilton
Suburb: Kirwan
Entry age: 1
What his parents said: Morgan has the biggest, bluest eyes, loves playtime at Grandma’s and is always happy especially when waking up from a sleep in his cot.
6. Cooper Blane
Suburb: Birkdale
Entry age: 1
What his parents said: Cooper was smiling as early as a week old, and honestly, he has never stopped. He’s the happiest, cheekiest little munchkin. He pulls funny faces, giggles uncontrollably when tickled or if you tell him he’s stinky, and he’s so inquisitive.
5. Patrick Stephen Percival James
Suburb: Kelso
Entry age: 10 months
What his parents said: He’s the cheekiest ginger-haired ratbag, takes after his Dad. He loves the intro to Bluey, his siblings with paws, the beach, books and his Jolly Jumper in the backyard. His best facial expression is when he scrunches his tiny face up and snorts when he’s either having a good time, or he’s frustrated.
4. Arthur Reichardt
Suburb: Charters Towers
Entry age: 8 months
What his parents said: Arthur is as cheeky as they come. He loves cuddles with his Mumma, turning on and chasing the robot vacuum and dogs around in his Walker and always has a smile ready for everyone that greets him!
3. Kasey Michael Stroud
Suburb: Kallangur
Entry age: 10 months
What his parents said: Kasey will brighten up anyone’s day when he smiles. He has a very cheeky personality. Loves a good little twerk to the wiggles.
2. Jaxon James Rudman
Suburb: Wynnum
Entry age: 1 month
What his parents said: Only 15 days old but wins everyone over with his big dimple smiles! He had a rough first week being in hospital for jaundice. But is thriving now. Loves big naps and sleeping with his mouth open. Jaxon loves tummy time and cuddles with his big brother.
1. James Davies
Suburb: Upper Brookfield
Entry age: 8 months
What his parents said: When James wakes up each day, he has a humoured look on his face, and he remembers where he is. Oh, it’s that crazy place again. James is always happy. He loves people, he’s very sociable.
