Two Brisbane medical centres have claimed the title of Brisbane's best in 2024, with our readers voting for their favourite in a landslide win for both medical centres. We've got the lowdown on the top 10 and where you can find each business.

10. Bywater Medical Jindalee

Suburb: Jindalee

Located within the Allsports Shopping Village on Sinnamon Road, the clinic is open Monday to Friday. Client Bec Stanton described the clinic as "caring and professional" on Google reviews. "Highly recommended. My family and I have been going to Bywater for 15 years and have found them to be very accommodating with our needs and have taken the time to explain everything in full detail with us," she wrote.

With more than 500 positive reviews online, the family-orientated clinic located on Old Cleveland road has become popular with locals. Amy Emanuel described the clinic as "amazing" on Google reviews. "The front desk staff a lovely and accommodating and their online booking system and check in makes it easy. Because they are so lovely, I think sometimes it can be difficult to get an appointment with a preferred doctor," she wrote.

The busy Redland Bay clinic is open Monday to Saturday. Dr Craig McCombe has become quite popular with clients through his 20+ year tenure at the clinic, with multiple patients describing him as "professional" and "easy to talk to".

7. Petrie Family Medical Practice

Located on Frenchs Road, Petrie Family Medical Practice is open Monday to Friday. Highly rated amongst patients, Dr Michelle Psaltis has been described as "kind" and "compassionate" in Google Reviews. "Dr Michelle is hands down the kindest and most compassionate doctor I’ve met. I’ve been seeing her and Dr Lindsay (another excellent doctor) for the last few months as I am 14 weeks pregnant and the care given is beyond comparison. Receptionists are very lovely as well," reviewer Belle Metekingi wrote. 

6. Scarborough Majellan Medical Centre

The highly nominated clinic is located on the Redcliffe Peninsula and is open between Monday and Saturday. Doctors at the clinic are fluent in different Slavic languages, with some patients travelling as far as the Gold Coast.

Located on Old Northern Road in Albany Creek, the clinic is open seven days a week. A recent review described the clinic as lovely. "The nurses, receptionists and doctors all seem very friendly. My GP Dr Carnell (Natalie) is always helpful, patient, empathetic, thorough, informative and comes across as genuinely caring about patients and the profession she works in. I couldn’t ask for a better GP," patient Reyne wrote in a Google review. 

4. Winston Glades Family Practice

Located on Edwards Street in Raceview, Winston Glades Family Practice is highly rated by long-term and newer patients. In a Google review from a week ago, Reasha Broome described the clinic as a great place. "We have been going to Winston Glades Family Practice for a few years now since our kids were little. They have great facilities, very clean and have everything you need in one spot. The receptionists, nurses and doctors are great and so kind," she wrote.

Located within Eatons Hill Village at Brendale, the clinic is open Monday to Saturday. Reviews for the clinic are glowing, with patients commenting on the commitment from doctors to offer tailored care treatment plans to every patient. "I had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Peyman Mira's clinic for a skin check and a procedure, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Peyman Mira himself is undoubtedly a true professional in his field. He exudes confidence and expertise, which is incredibly reassuring for anyone seeking medical care. During the skin check, he explained each step of the process and answering all my questions with patience and clarity. I felt that he genuinely cared about my well-being and took the time to understand my concerns," Iryna Solar wrote on a Google Review.

The Sinnamon Park clinic is located at Seventeen Mile Rocks Road and is open from Monday to Saturday. The clinic places a focus on providing a nurturing environment for patients. On a Google review, Karen Sonter said Dr Margaret Hall is a fantastic doctor. "Cannot rate Dr Margaret Hall highly enough. Such a great doctor and I trust her judgement and she has helped me immensely. Great medical centre and all the doctors and staff there are amazing to me and my family," she wrote. In a Facebook post made earlier this month celebrating the birthday of one of the doctors at the clinic, dozens of patients wished the popular doctor a happy birthday within hours.

With hundreds of positive reviews online, the clinic has become a pillar of the local community. Open seven days a week, the Stanley Road clinic supports patients from all backgrounds.  After more than 14 years at the clinic, Chris Writton wrote in a Google review that he would recommend the team of doctors working at the facility to anyone who asked. Another reviewer, Julia Jones, spoke highly of the support given from doctors. "Our family has been long-time patients of Dr. Phillip Wuth at Carina Medical & Specialist Centre, and we have consistently experienced an exceptional level of care that goes ‘over and above,’ truly setting them apart. Dr. Wuth, affectionately known as Dr. Phil, epitomises what it means to provide 'old-school' medical service, where the focus is not only on treating the symptoms but also on caring for the individual as a whole in an unhurried manner.
