Depending on which room you choose, up to six guests can bed down in comfort with twin rooms offering the best value as they include a pair of queen beds. The Reef View falls under the kids stay and eat free program (for under 12s), you get access to the all resort pools, the complimentary shuttle service, airport/marina transfers, free in room wifi and you can also book a treatment as the Spa Wumurdaylin and Island Hair & Beauty. If you had the cash to splash, who wouldn’t buy their own place on Hamo? But since you’d probably only visit occasionally, it would make sense to rent it out. This is where holidaymakers come into the picture. Especially if travelling in larger groups who want their own mini compound. From $448 per night, up to 12 guests can check into one of these homes - all of which have access to the 'kids eat free' program and lagoon pool. The island’s myriad restaurants are available to try but with well-equipped kitchens self catering is also an option. This place is so fancy it doesn’t even have to bother with capital letters. They are too discreet to drop names but this where the a-list global celebs come to get a taste of luxe life on the Great Barrier Reef. qualia is open to mere mortals too but know that its jaw-dropping pavilions start at $1720 a night. Only guests over 16 are allowed, there are a pair of infinity pools (but many of the rooms have their own private plunge affairs) and the choice of the Pebble Beach fine diner and the more chilled Long Pavillion. The Spa qualia is next level (with prices to match) but what is free is the use of non-motorised watersports equipment, the private gym and the 24-hour chauffeur service.
