Australia’s largest indoor day spa is set to open in Brisbane featuring the latest high-tech treatments loved by Hollywood’s A-list.

TFP Spa will launch at the base of the country’s most premium gym and wellness centre, Total Fusion Platinum, in Newstead, on February 3 and promises never-before-seen equipment and procedures.

Guests can expect everything from cellulite shockwave therapy to bio-electric treatments which aim to reduce everything from chronic injuries to inflammation using electromagnetic waves.

“We have 14 rooms using a mix of modern medicine with our dermal therapies all the way through to our traditional ancient remedies including things like our ayurvedic rooms and also our traditional massage and facial treatments,” said TFP spa director Amy Hides.

Tipped to be one of the most in-demand procedures is the Hollywood laser peel that’s used by the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and Kim Kardashian to get red carpet-ready.

“It does everything from brightening and tightening in a single treatment all the way through to our carbon facials, which help to purify the skin and then blast away the unwanted cells,” Mrs Hides said.

The facility also includes an Australian-first cryotherapy system, which has guests stepping into a freezing -115C chamber.

“It’s designed to send our body into shock so that we can help heal and repair our muscles, joints and injuries a lot faster; it works on our brown fat to be able to reduce [overall] fat, and also stimulate the body’s cells and circulation,” Mrs Hides said.

The TFP Spa will also include the likes of an IV and healite lounge, sauna, steam room, ice bath, spray tan booths, couples suites and more.

Treatments start at $160 and go up to $720 for a six-hour full-body dosha balancing ritual including lunch from TFP’s restaurant.

Or the deep-pocketed can purchase a limited-edition $250/week 12-month package including unlimited cryotherapy and healight, four credits to use towards different spa modalities, 20 per cent off all other spa treatments, plus access to the full gym and wellness centre above with its snow room, pool and ice baths.

The spa even has its own creche, offering child minding for up to 90 minutes so parents can enjoy a treatment.
