Aussie fights back at neighbour's 'entitled' act

"You should see if your local council has any fines for this."

As cute as dogs are, they sure can cause a lot of damage.

This doesn’t matter too much if they have responsible owners who will chase after them, fix what they've broken and pick up their poo. But, unfortunately for this person’s front yard, this isn’t always the case.

An Aussie Reddit user has taken to the platform after showcasing their unique strategy for dealing with an annoying neighbour - and people can’t get enough.

“Feel stupid doing it but ffs”

An Aussie Reddit user has taken to the platform to show off their unique strategy to cope with a neighbour whose dog constantly leaves little… gifts out the front of their house.

To combat the issue, they’ve written ‘BAG YOUR DOG SHIT’ out on the path in chalk - and that’s one way to be direct.

“[Our] neighbour leaves dog shit outside our lane every few days,” the person wrote.

“Our street’s only several houses long so they're probably taking it to poop every morning and leaving the shit on the sidewalk every time.

“Feel stupid doing it but ffs, you can get 50 bags for $2 at Woolies and I don't want to pick up your dog's feces every other day.”

“Dog owners are the most entitled pieces of shit”

Commenters were just as frustrated with the dog owner’s ‘dog act’, calling them extremely entitled.

“Some people let their dog out unsupervised and literally don’t know or care where it is shitting,” one person said.

“Some, not all, dog owners are the most entitled pieces of shit in society,” said another.

“Bag it up yourself and put it outside his door”

And, while many thought the poster’s solution was smart, others suggested their own - far more unhinged - ideas.

“I knew a guy who put it in a sealed bucket for six months, filled it with water, left it a week, and then dumped it on the offending neighbours driveway and said ‘I believe this is yours’. Or so he told me,” one commenter said.

“Bag it up yourself and put it outside his door. Light it, knock on the door and run,” another suggested.

“I got my power washer and sprayed the offending articles back onto my neighbour’s yard. Only had to do it twice and they started to pick up after the dog,” one person said.

“You should see if your local council has any issues (fines) for this, and get yourself a motion camera,” a fourth added.
