Aldi is recalling Reese’s Dipped Pretzels because it contains an undeclared allergen - peanut.
Packets of the popular chocolate-peanut snack went on sale without clearly stating that they contain peanut.
Consumers who have a peanut allergy could suffer a serious reaction if they unwittingly eat the treat.
The 120g packets were sold at Aldi in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Western Australia.
The affected bags have a best before date of February 2023.
“Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for full refund,” Food Standards Australia said.
“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”
