The boy was reportedly travelling in a four-wheel drive along an unspecified rural road when the driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled down a gully, landing on its roof.
Queensland Health advise the boy’s condition has not changed as of late Friday night, after he suffered burns to about 60 per cent of his body on Thursday.
