Self-described Noosa advocate and three-time Australian Survivor contestant, Shonee Bowtell, has given The Courier-Mail an interview on all things Survivor.
After a challenging time filming for Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains in Samoa, Shonee has said she is now in holiday mode, taking the time to relax at Bali.
With Heroes V Villians now her third time on the series, Shonee said she continues to go back on the show for the chance to win the prize money.
“I still want that half a million dollars,” she said.
“When they originally asked me I said life is for living, how many people have this opportunity to go and do something crazy where you’re putting your mind to the test, your body. You’re literally starving.
“You are on a beach and it’s pouring rain and you’re sitting there, like, cool.
“It would be silly for me to turn down the offer to get to experience that especially when so many people don’t get to.
“So I’m like, yeah, lucky, amazing. Why not go have another crazy experience?”
Shonee said she would struggle to go back to Samoa given the harsh conditions on the island.
“Never say never,” she said.
“I think if it came to it, I would probably be like, why not?”
Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains airs Sunday, Monday and Tuesday on 10 and 10 Play.
