AFTER maintaining her silence for a week, Bachelor runner-up Lisa Hyde has spoken out about her relationship with tarnished reality star Blake Garvey.

In an exclusive interview and photo shoot with The Courier-Mail, she said she did not sleep with the Perth auctioneer and he is not dating any of the Bachelorettes.

Hyde has been the subject of several rumours since Garvey split with Sam Frost only weeks after proposing during the finale of the show, including that she was pregnant with his baby. The Queensland contestant said the rumours were false.

“He’s not pursuing any of the other girls and I’m in contact with everyone,” she said.

“The girls are all very honest and we’re all supporting each other. I don’t think he’s hung up on any of the other girls. Obviously it is really hard to say how he’s feeling.”

Hyde has signed on as the face of the Forever 21 clothing chain, which opens in Queen Street Mall next Thursday.

Despite everything that has happened, Hyde said she hoped she and Garvey could remain friends.

“I can’t help but feel a bit sorry for Blake,” she said. “I’ve just really been giving him support just as a friend … There’s a lot of Blake hating going on, and the things that’s the most upsetting is the comments and the bullying.”

Some of the claims include that Blake was a “producer’s puppet” and just wanted to be famous, that some of the girls nicknamed him “Blake the Fake”, and that when the cameras weren’t close-up he would just say “blah, blah blah”.

Lisa Hyde has signed on as the face of the Forever 21.
