FREDDIE Flintoff was so awe-struck by the sight of ‘Deadly’ Ninja Jack Wilson in his budgy smugglers that the acclaimed sportsman couldn’t help but make a comment on national television.
The Mount Isa local has made body paint and the tight-fitting swimmers his trademark throughout the competition.
But Flintoff was so impressed by the sight of Wilson on the big screen during grand final night that he couldn’t restrain his commentary any longer.
“I know why your nickname is Willy,” remarked Flintoff, who watched the talented contestant closely throughout his grand final run.
“We’re getting a fantastic view of the budgy smugglers,” he remarked, as he took a close view while Wilson made his way over the cargo net.
“(Although I’m) not sure I want it,” he added.

This isn’t the first time Flintoff has commented on Wilson’s revealing choice of costume.
“I’ve heard about budgy smugglers but I’ve never seen them close and … wow,” remarked UK-native Flintoff earlier in the competition.
However, Wilson, 23, has managed to impress for far more than his miniature swimwear.
The indigenous carpenter has been one of the most hotly watched contenders throughout, and hopes his success can inspire other indigenous and non-Australians to greatness.
