The series starts from the very beginning when four brothers set out to build a movie studio from the ground up with hopes of turning silent films into “talkies”.

Through decades of creative risks and relevant storytelling, mergers and transformations, Warner Bros went from humble production company to the global entertainment powerhouse it is today.

The show features insights and anecdotes from stars such as Clooney, Kevin Costner, Kim Basinger, Candice Bergen, Keanu Reeves and Martin Scorsese, to name a few.

“The thing about Warner Bros., they were there at the very beginning – not only creating an art form but also an industry – and you had to be tough,” Scorsese said.

“We all looked to Warner Bros. for films that had a special quality to them and took chances.”

Clooney also praised the studio for their courage in a time where everyone was encouraged to stay in their own lane.

“They were very brave at times that were not easy to be very brave,” the actor said in the documentary.
