After a couple of false starts, it was third time lucky for Brisbane’s newest party boat when it finally launched at the weekend.
The Oasis cast off on Saturday after failing to be ready in time for its invitation-only maiden cruise and public launch a month ago.
It was an epic day on the water with many of Brisbane’s A-list partying in style.
Oasis Cruising chief operating officer Michael Watt said the three-level vessel offered something different for Brisbane River cruising and entertainment.
“There’s no point releasing something that was half-baked,” he said.
“We spent a lot of time and energy and now have something we believe is the best boat in the country.”
More than 300 invited guests embarked on the maiden cruise.
