Comedy royalty Jimmy Carr spotted on the Gold Coast as he kicks off his Australia Tour. See the details.

British-Irish Comedian Jimmy Carr was making the most of the Gold Coast Saturday when he was spotted at Oscar Oscar salon at Pacific Fair. Well known for his deadpan and often controversial comedy, Carr was seen getting a cut and colour before his stand up set at The Star.

Salon co-owner Meagan O’Connor said: “He was seriously so lovely and so funny, I was so excited when he came in.

“He was cracking jokes the whole time and so friendly, I love him even more now.”

The star is currently touring Australia as part of his Terribly Funny tour, following his Netflix comedy special, Funny Business. This is his first Australian tour since 2018 with the comedic icon returning to the Gold Coast again in May with three shows at HOTA.
