US singer SZA slammed the behaviour of some Aussie fans this week, yelling at them from the stage after they threw items her way at her Melbourne show this week.

In a video shared on TikTok, the musician appeared outraged as she called out the fans in the audience for throwing items – which reportedly included shoes and cellphones – onto the stage at Rod Laver Arena.

The 34-year-old called out the crowd and suggested she was even prepared to walk off if the behaviour continued to get out of hand.

“I will leave,” she said while holding up an item that landed on stage. “Do not throw up any cell phones, I’m a person. That’s crazy.”

It was also chaos later in the concert when SZA was forced to run offstage in fear of being subjected to a massive $250,000 fine.

The singer, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, told a screaming crowd that she had to go because otherwise she was going to face a fine for staying past 11pm.

“OK they’re gonna fine me! I love you,” she yelled, before picking some of her fans to join her for a meet and greet backstage after the show. “I have to go, I have to go!”

Concert venues in Melbourne have an 11pm curfew to meet the noise pollution requirements of the Environment Protection Authority.

Fans rushed to comment on the videos being shared online, with many sharing their dismay.

“Concert etiquette has gone out the window. Should be ashamed of themselves,” one said. “You had one f***ing job Melbourne, now she won’t want to come back to Australia,” another added.

Another video, posted to social media showed SZA signing items which had been passed to the artist from fans via security guards had people referencing the correct way to get things to the singer.

“Literally so many people were throwing phones, headphones everything right at SZA she’s just a human being. People need to be more respectful”, one said.

“Good on yall for being respectful and not throwing s*** at her,” another commented.
