An Oasis fan was captured on camera celebrating at the band’s London concert before he fell to his death in front of the band’s shocked fans.

Lee Claydon, 45, a father and landscape gardener from Bournemouth in Dorset is said to have fallen from the upper tier balcony at the Wembley Stadium concert on Saturday night.

The tragic incident unfolded at the end of the show as the audience applauded and fireworks were let off.

He was at show with his brother and his brother’s children, who according to family did not see what happened.

In an emotional Facebook post, his niece Lilly Claydon shared a photo of Mr Claydon at the gig.

Mr Claydon can be seen smiling alongside Lilly with his arm in the air and a bucket hat on.

She wrote: “What a night we all had lee. The best uncle, I have no words I’ll never forget you uncle lee lee.”

Mr Claydon’s father, Clive, questioned the safety of the venue saying “it must have been horrific”.

“All I know is there was beer everywhere, it’s slippery, he slipped apparently, we do not know the rest of it, there’s questions about the barriers,” he said.

It is not known if alcohol played a role in the man’s fall, but fans helped set a new Wembley record of roughly 250,000 pints of beer sold each night, the Standard reported.

His partner Amanda said she would “never stop loving you” and called Lee her “soulmate”.

She added: “I don’t have many words right now but it’s not fair and it’s not right that you’re not here with us!

“I am so grateful to have spent the time we had even though this cruel world has cut it way too short!

“We had so much to look forward to! I will try my best to be strong for all.”

Aaron, Lee’s brother, paid tribute to him on a GoFundMe page set up to support his grieving family.

“Our family has been turned upside down and are struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss.

“Lee leaves behind his Son, Dad, Partner, Brothers, Sisters, Nephews and Niece.

“Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son Harry and was loved so much by all his family.

“Lee would have done anything for any of us and he was taken from us far too soon and we will miss him so very much.”

It’s also emerged Aaron shared how excited he was about going to the show on Facebook, The Sun reported.

In his last post, Lee commented underneath: “Cheers our kid” in reference to Noel and Liam Gallagher.

Noel was known for calling Liam “R kid” as a term of endearment, short for “our kid”.

The phrase is a slang term for a brother or sister, particularly a younger sibling, the publication explained.

Oasis said in a statement that they were “shocked and saddened” by the fan’s death.

They added: “Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”
