The Jonas Brothers have delighted their Australian fans after they played a beloved Aussie tune during their Brisbane concert on Tuesday evening.

The American trio couldn’t help but pay tribute to the country’s biggest cultural icon Bluey, opening the Brisbane leg of their Five Albums. One Night. world tour with the theme song from the popular children’s series.

The theme track opened the show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, blasting on the speakers as Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas made their way on stage.

But instead of the show’s characters appearing on screen as it does in the opening credits when the song plays before each episode, it was Joe, Nick and Kevin’s names that flashed on the big screen in similar Bluey font.

“Surprised our Brisbane fans with a special intermission entrance during the show,” the band wrote on Instagram as they shared a clip of the moment.

Other videos of the heartwarming tribute were shared on TikTok, with fans expressing their delight.

“This was not on my 2024 Bingo card,” commented one, while another wrote, “Aww they did their research knowing that Bluey is set in Brisbane.”

The official Bluey Instagram account shared the clip on their page, writing, “Bluey x @jonasbrothers is EVERYTHING.”

They also shared a photo of the cast featuring Bluey, Bingo and Bandit with the slogan “Good things come in threes.”

It’s no surprise the trio went all dad mode. Between them, they have five children – all daughters.

Joe shares Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, with his ex, former Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner; Kevin has Alena, 10, and Valentina, 7, with wife Danielle; and Nick is dad to 2-year-old Malti with his actress wife Priyanka Chopra.

In an interview with The Project ahead of their tour, the stars said their homes have been overtaken by the loveable kids program.

Bluey’s a big thing I think in all of our households,” Kevin said during an interview. “New episodes just came out in the US couple weeks ago, we had a movie premiere night at our house.”

“When I told my daughters I was going to Australia, they said, ‘Are you going to see the actual Bluey house?’”

The trio played two shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena earlier this month before their Brisbane gig on Tuesday night. They will now head to Melbourne to perform two shows at Rod Laver Arena.
