Young Swiftie gets surprise Taylor Swift Eras concert tickets

Ex-footy star and radio host Brendan Fevola has made a young woman’s life after he gave away his daughter’s Taylor Swift’s concert tickets.

At least 85,000 fans will pack into the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday night for the pop superstar’s first Australian concert in her global Eras Tour.

Loyal Swiftie Bella had almost lost all hope after trying desperately to secure tickets to one of the popstar’s seven Australian shows.

She entered all of the radio and TV competitions, spent hours trawling the ticket sale websites for the restricted viewing tickets and last minute sales.

In a final effort, she decided to make the most of her week off work and board a flight from her hometown of Brisbane to Melbourne in the hopes of scoring a last-minute ticket.

Hanging out at the Crown in Melbourne on Friday morning, she recounted her struggle to find tickets to the Fox breakfast hosts Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola & Nick Codyteam and struck a chord with the former footy star.

“Now, I love that story. I’ve got one of my own tickets, that my daughter bought but she also got a VIP package,” Fevola said.

“I said she can’t go on Sunday because it’s not fair if she’s going tonight. I just texted her then and said, “can we take our ticket and give it to you?” … so you can go on Sunday night … if you’d like it?”

She collapsed on the floor in shock and tears when she heard the unbelievable news.

“Oh, she’s collapsed! Are you okay? Are you okay?” he said, scrambling to get her a bottle of water.

She gratefully accepted the tickets, hugging the hosts and taking photos with them.

The Fox hosts were broadcasting live from Crown Melbourne ahead of the concert on Friday morning.

The trio were giving away some of the few remaining tickets to the sold-out shows when they came across one of the Anti-Hero singer’s biggest fans.

Swift will perform her three-and-a-half-hour long setlist on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, before flying to Sydney for another four-night run from February 23 to 26.
