AFTER more than 40 years together, Cold Chisel enjoy an easy camaraderie as rock brothers-in-arms and a fiery determination to play the best gig of their lives every time they take the stage.
As they continue their One Night Stand tour to launch The Perfect Crime record, award-winning photographer Gregg Porteous shadowed the band on their far north Queensland run.
We see Jimmy Barnes warming up his voice before the show with his trademark screams — and a shot of whiskey.
Ian Moss taking time out to cool down in a waterfall. The band running through the setlist at soundcheck.
Rugby league hero Johnathan Thurston gets saved from a mob of adoring fans wanting selfies to hang out with the band backstage before the show and later join them onstage provoking a mighty roar from the crowd.
And the power of this legendary rock band in full flight.
This is Chisel as you rarely get to see them.
