TAYLOR Swift has begun her Queensland holiday.
The pop star arrived on Hamilton Island this afternoon after a brief stopover on the Gold Coast.
Her private jet was spotted on the tarmac at the island’s airport, with Swift set to enjoy a few days in the Whitsundays.
The singer is set to perform at an intimate fan gig organised by Qantas and Nova later this week.
It is rumoured that she will be joined by her mates Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith during her stay.
Her mother and brother are thought to also be on Hamilton Island.
Swift will be in Brisbane this weekend, bringing her 1989 tour to the Suncorp Stadium.
The world’s biggest pop star flew in from New Zealand this morning, landing on the Gold Coast for refuelling and Customs checks.
While fans and airport staff eagerly waited for a chance to see Swift, she remained onboard while the aircraft sat on the tarmac for about 30 minutes.
Airport ground staff removed some bags of rubbish from the plane and it took off again heading north.
