TAYLOR Swift has gone back to her country roots ... and who better to help her out that Australia’s country music superstar, Keith Urban.
Swift pulled Urban up onstage in Toronto for the latest concert in her 1989 world tour.
Swift has spoken in the past about her admiration for Urban.
“Someone absolutely incredible is about to come out on this stage,” Swift told the audience before introducing Urban. “This is someone who has sold 20 million records but, more importantly, is an amazing human being.
“I actually had opened up for his tour years ago,” she said. “He’s been so wonderful to me. He’s one of the most talented people who has ever been born.”
Urban and Swift first performed Urban’s newest hit, John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16, but the country superstar wasn’t done with just one tune. After that song was over, he stuck around onstage and sang Somebody Like You.
Swift started out in Nashville as a country singer before embracing a more pop-like sound and dominating the charts.
