POP princess Taylor Swift could arrive in Queensland as early as today as she prepares for the second leg of her Australia tour.
On Wednesday night the 23-year-old played to 40,000 fans in Sydney, the first time since Madonna in 1993 that a solo female has played to stadium audiences in Australia.
Taylor Swift on fire in Sydney
Seven reasons we love Taylor Swift
Yesterday Swift spent the day in Sydney and took a leisurely lunch with her entourage as her enormous touring set, which includes hundreds of moving lights and pyrotechnics, was packed up and trucked to Brisbane.
Her Sydney show won accolades from critics and audience members alike, particularly for her pristine vocals, which is a great challenge to achieve in a stadium show.
Tomorrow night Swift will bring her brand of country-pop crossover to an almost-capacity Brisbane crowd at the 52,000-seat Suncorp Stadium.
Swift, who is the reigning Billboard and American Music Award Artist of the Year, as well as a seven-time Grammy winner, will then play shows in Perth and Melbourne.
She will have been seen by more than 200,000 Australians by the time her tour finishes on December 14.
