TAYLOR Swift has added one final show to her Australian visit on her 1989 World Tour.

Swift will now play a third Melbourne show at AAMI Park, a record for the venue.

The new show on her Australian tour will be on Thursday December 10, will actually take place before the two existing sold-out shows on December 11 and 12.

That leaves Swift free in Melbourne to celebrate the end of the world tour and her 26th birthday on December 13.

Fans will now be itching to find out if any celebrity guests will be taking the spotlight with Swift on stage, after Lorde made an appearance at the fellow popstar’s Washington DC show on Monday.

Famous faces join Taylor Swift onstage

A whole string of A-listers have been making cameos with Swift in recent weeks, including Gigi Hadid, Heidi Klum, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne and Lena Dunham.

Swift’s tour Down Under coincides with that of her best bud Ed Sheeran, fuelling speculation of a possible collaboration between the two award-winning artists.

News of the additional Melbourne date will anger fans in West Australia who hoped any extra Australian shows would see the US superstar go to Perth.

Swift is already playing single shows in Brisbane and Sydney as well as two shows in Adelaide.

Melbourne remains her strongest market.

Tickets for the December 10 show go on sale 10am Thursday July 23 from Ticketek.

Melbourne’s Vance Joy will open for all Australian shows, with another guest expected to be announced.

Swift’s album 1989 has spawned four hit singles so far — Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style and Bad Blood.

Fans will be curious to see if Swift invites any local stars or musicians on stage in Australia — so far the 1989 tour has seen Swift bring Nick Jonas, The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, Echosmith and Rachel Platten to perform with her.

Swift’s mates Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran are also touring Australia in December and the chart topper has yet to ask Vance Joy to join her on stage during her set.

She has covered his hit Riptide while he has covered her 1989 album track I Know Places, both becoming online hits.
