LEGENDARY US singer-songwriters Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge will tour Australia in April with a double headline show.

It was announced last week the singers would join the stellar line-up at next year’s Byron Bay Bluesfest and today it was confirmed they will hit all capital cities with a separate tour in April.

“It’s been way too long since I was in Australia! Am so excited to be touring with my dear friend, Melissa Etheridge! We are going to have a great time and play some great music! Looking forward to seeing all our friends and fans in April,” Crow said.

The All I Wanna Do singer and Etheridge have been friends since they met during Michael Jackson’s Bad tour in the 1980s when Crow was a backup singer for the King of Pop.

“I always have a good time when we play in Australia and this will be no exception. Sheryl and I can’t wait to get down there and play some great music,” Etheridge said.
