SPIN King Shane Warne joined British rock band Coldplay on stage last night with an unconventional performance.
The the former Australian cricket star joined the band on stage to perform ‘Don’t Panic’ on harmonica.
Warne, who was among 55,000 fans at Etihad Stadium on Friday night for the band’s first Melbourne show of it's A Head Full Of Dreams tour, joined the band on stage for a unique performance on Saturday night.
Warne has been great mates with Martin for 15 years and the pair have caught up regularly on Martin’s Australian tours, most notably with Warne taking Martin to visit bushfire relief centres in 2009 after Black Saturday.
Warne and children Brooke, Jackson and Summer spent yesterday afternoon in Brighton with Martin and Coldplay band mates Will Champion and Jonny Buckland, before their second show last night.
Warnie’s unconventional appearance follows on from one love struck fan who got on stage who proposed at the band’s Friday night show.
