One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson had a huge night out during their Aussie tour

SECURITY sweeps, vodka shots, VIP sections and a rumoured lip lock with an Aussie fan. The boys of One Direction have shaken off their PG days.

A PRIVATE VIP room, bottle service, and a phallic cartoon drawn on your face - this is what it takes to party like One Direction.

The UK boy band really know how to have a big night out.

Far from their PG days, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson hit the town in Melbourne on Saturday night and were, well, a bit worse for wear when they performed on stage at Etihad Stadium the next day.

Tomlinson confessed to drawing the explicit cartoon on Payne’s face with a Sharpie after he fell asleep - apparently a common prank pulled by members of the five-piece.

“You actually had a penis (drawing) on your head,” Tomlinson, 23, said, as he and Payne chatted about the night before.

Payne, 21, said he and Tomlinson had “an extraordinary night out”.

Their night out even led Payne to tweet: “Tomorrow will not be easy”, followed by, “Help me” early on Sunday morning.

The 1D band mates hung out at South Melbourne club Eve on Valentine’s Day with a small posse, including security guards, and without their long-term girlfriends (Payne has been dating Sophia Smith for nearly three years, while Tomlinson’s girlfriend of four years is Eleanor Calder).

Sources who were at the club said 1D’s security arrived at the club before 1am to check it out before giving the all-clear for the boys to arrive.

“It was very hush, hush,” a source told News Corp Australia.

Payne and Tomlinson hung out with a small group of mates inside Eve’s VIP gold room, where they were ushered in away from the crowds via the back entrance, and stayed for about an hour.

“Not everyone noticed they were there. They were drinking bottle service, vodka shots,” another club-goer said.

Tomlinson and Payne left the club about 2am.

There was no sign of their One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik or Niall Horan during Payne and Tomlinson’s night out, with Styles seen at Crown’s Club 23.

When Payne and Tomlinson returned to their hotel, they were snapped by fans in the lobby, with Tomlinson making headlines for reportedly telling a group of girls, “I’m gay, it’s pretty unfortunate” in footage that emerged on Vine.

Meanwhile, speculation abounds that Horan is dating an Aussie.

The 1D singer was snapped locking lips with Sydney student and blogger Melissa Whitelaw, 21, sending fans into a frenzy online and prompting #CongratsNiallAndMelissa to trend on Twitter.

One fan tweeted that she saw Horan - who has previously been linked to Ellie Goulding and Made in Chelsea reality star Louise Thompson - playing with Whitelaw’s hair, while another said they were being “flirty”.

While some fans have been supportive, Whitelaw has copped abuse on her Instagram account, with follower @eliwant10 posting: “Directioners are millions. If you break his heart you’ll be f***ed up. Leave him”.

User @catastylinson wrote: “F*** you! Niall is my boyfriend! Niall is my babe! Fox!”.

One Direction played two shows at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium as part of their On The Road Again tour, and perform in Adelaide tonight.
