AC/DC will have the biggest tour in Australia this year with the band adding extra concerts soon after tickets went on sale to meet fierce demand.
It is believed more than 300,000 tickets were snapped up within hours of the Rock Or Bust stadium shows going on sale from Monday morning.
The promoter added second concerts in Sydney and Melbourne just an hour after the box office opened, with reports there were few tickets left for those shows within seven minutes.
The unprecedented fandom for the world’s biggest rock band shows no signs of abating despite founding member Malcolm Young being forced to retire due to suffering dementia and drummer Phil Rudd being sidelined by his legal woes.
AC/DC opened their Rock Or Bust live campaign with their headlining concerts at the Coachella festival in California over the past two weekends.
Their Coachella set featured many fan favourites including Back In Black, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Hells Bells, Thunderstruck, You Shook Me All Night Long and Highway To Hell.
They also drew from the current album, with the title track, Play Ball and Baptism Of Fire.
The band kick off their official Rock Or Bust world tour on May 5 in Holland.
AC/DC sold an astonishing 1.75 million tickets for the European leg in 24 hours when they went on sale earlier this year.
AC/DC now play ANZAC Stadium on November 4 and 7, QSAC, Brisbane on November 12 and 14, Adelaide oval on November 21, Domain Stadium, Perth, on November 27 and 29 and Etihad Stadium on December 6 and 8.
