ANGRY Madonna fans were kept waiting for more than two hours for the superstar to take the stage at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday night.
Madonna, lowered in a metal cage and wearing a striking red gown, finally appeared at 11.20pm.
“I’m hardly ever late. It’s you people that get here early that’s the problem,” she joked after singing Body Shop.
“Stay home, do your hair and make up, have a tequila. Roll yourself a fat one... no, I don’t believe in that shit.
“Just come late and I won’t have to come early.
“We’ve got three more shows and we want to fix the problem.”

While some fans decided to pack it in and left the concert before Madonna appeared, those who played the waiting game then had to deal with the transport aftermath.
Translink confirmed no extra public transport services were running after the final train departed from Boondall station at 12.17am - with Madonna less than halfway through her two-hour spectacular.
However, event organisers said they had notified fans of a possible late finish and to take that into consideration in getting to and from the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
Earlier, angry fans took to social media to vent their frustrations, with some calling Madonna out on the high cost of tickets.
“Dear @Madonna I love you but do you think this view is worth $602 when you’re not due until 10.30pm on a week night”, wrote @Running—Sally on Twitter.
