Legendary singer Tom Jones brings Stages And Ages tour to Australia in March
The legends keep coming with treasured Welsh superstar Tom Jones playing stunning outdoor gigs and the big arenas on his Australian tour.

Retire at 83? Forget it, says Sir Tom Jones who joins the hit parade of living legends touring Australia as nostalgia booms at the concert box office. .
The It’s Not Unusual superstar has said he would continue performing live while his famous baritone remained robust and has been winning rave reviews for his concerts in America and the UK this year.
He returns to Australia with his Stages and Ages tour in March, following Sir Paul McCartney’s Got Back tour, funk heroes Nile Rodgers and CHIC and rock gods KISS next month and 1970s electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk in December.
The 83-year-old entertainer is one of the headliners for the 2024 Bluesfest in Byron Bay and has also booked a run of outdoor and arena concerts around the country.
The tour will open on March 21 at Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth, followed by A Day on the Green at Centennial Vineyards in Bowral on March 23.
Jones then heads to The Drive in Adelaide on March 26, Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne on March 28, Bluesfest on March 30, Newcastle Entertainment Centre on April 2 and winds up the tour at Aware Super Theatre on April 4.
Jones has been touring Australia since the mid 1960s and was last here for shows in 2016.
One of his biggest box office success here came in 2005 when he linked with national treasure John Farnham for their Together In Concert tour; the gifted vocalists regularly performed sing-offs on Australian television appearances including the Logies in 1993.
Jones’ popularity here has been generationally refreshed with his shocking pop reinventions including his cover version of Prince’s Kiss in 1988 and Sex Bomb released in 2000.
He has also joined the legion of music superstars taking the coach’s red seat on The Voice in the UK and later recorded the song Talking Reality Television Blues on his Surrounded By Time album released in 2021.
Reviews of his concerts during the northern hemisphere summer this year unanimously declared Jones has still got it.
“He’s still got everything that really counts: a huge voice, a real feeling for songcraft, and a burning delight at still being on stage singing for an audience,” the UK Telegraph review said. of his Cardiff gig in July.
