More than 100 alleged sex abuse sexual exploitation and rape victims to sue Sean Diddy Combs

More than 100 people, including dozens of children, who say they were victims of rape, sexual assault and sexual exploitation at the hands of Sean “Diddy” Combs, are set to sue the rap star.

More Than 120 Accusers Sue Sean 'Diddy' Combs for Sexual Misconduct

More than 100 people, including dozens of children, who say they were victims of rape, sexual assault and sexual exploitation at the hands of Sean “Diddy” Combs are to sue the US rap star.

The latest legal action will heap further pressure on a man who once bestrode American pop culture, but who has long been dogged by accusations of violent abuse of women, and who is now sitting in jail on criminal charges.

“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world,” Texas-based laywer Tony Buzbee said as he announced plans by 120 people, including 25 minors, to take civil action.

“The wall of silence has now been broken, and victims are coming forward.” Combs was indicted last month on three criminal counts that allege he sexually abused women and coerced them into drug-fueled sex parties using threats and violence.

Allegations have been building against the Grammy Award-winner since last year, when singer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, alleged Combs subjected her to more than a decade of coercion by physical force and drugs as well as a 2018 rape.

A spate of similarly lurid lawsuits since have painted a picture of Combs as a violent man who used his celebrity status to prey on women.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges. He has been jailed awaiting trial.

At a press conference in Houston, Buzbee said more than 3,000 people had come forward with allegations against Combs, and he appealed for anyone else who might have been a victim to come forward.

He said much of the abuse Combs and members of his entourage are alleged to have carried out followed a pattern.

“I would say 90 per cent of the cases, these individuals were drugged,” he told reporters.

“One individual who was 22 years at the time she was assaulted, said that... when you were handed a drink -- and now we know that the drink is laced with something -- if you refused to drink it, you were kicked out of the party.” Buzbee described instances of repeated rape of teenagers, allegedly carried out by Combs and his associates.

He said alleged abuse of minors often took place in the context of a promise of fame and fortune in the music industry.

One boy, who was just nine years old at the time, was taken to New York to audition for Combs’ label Bad Boy Records.

“This individual was sexually abused, allegedly by Sean Combs and several other people at the studio, in the promise to both his parents and to himself of getting a record deal,” Buzbee said.

“Another incident, an individual, 15 years old at the time, flown to New York City to attend a party, was drugged and then taken into a private room, allegedly in the presence of Mr. Combs, where this female individual, a minor, was raped, and then other individuals took turns raping her.” Buzbee praised the courage of those who had come forward despite fears of retribution or backlash from their own communities.

“I expect that through this process, many powerful people, many dirty secrets will be revealed.

“We know what we are potentially up against, and as is always the case in situations like this, when a celebrity is involved, people can be downright mean and nasty.”

Combs is no longer on suicide watch and has been visited by his family while awaiting trial in Brooklyn’s notorious Metropolitan Detention Centre.

Sources told People magazine Combs has visited with family while at the detention facility, where he is in custody as he awaits his court appearance in early October on racketeering and sex trafficking charges.

TMZ also reported that Dana Tran, who has a daughter with Combs, was spotted for the first time since his indictment and she was wearing her “love” ring as she played with their daughter, named Love, who is turning two years old in a couple weeks.

“He is focused and very strong,” a lawyer for Combs told People. “He is concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial.”

Marc Agnifilo, a lawyer for Combs, revealed in a recent interview with TMZ that his client wants to testify.

“I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand,” Agnifilo said. “I think he is very eager to tell his story.”

PORNOGRAPHIC ACTS: WHAT I ALLEGEDLY SAW AT DIDDY’S HOUSE

It comes as the lawyer for one of Combs’s accusers has alleged she saw a high-profile person present during “pornographic” acts at the rapper’s Atlanta house.

Combs is accused of multiple charges including forcing women into “Freak Off” sex sessions with male prostitutes that were often recorded, the bombshell federal indictment alleges.

Allegations have been building against Combs since last year, when his former girlfriend, pop star Cassie, alleged the one-time rapper subjected her to more than a decade of coercion by physical force and drugs as well as a 2018 sexual assault.

A litany of women and men have also made allegations against the former rapper.

Now, Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, a lawyer representing a woman who claims Combs sexually assaulted her in 2018, revealed in an interview with NewsNation that she was separately contacted by someone “who wanted me to essentially represent them” in the sale of a pornographic tape featuring the mogul.

“There already have been tapes leaking around Hollywood, being shopped around to individuals in Hollywood,” Ms Mitchell-Kidd said.

“But one particular person contacted me to shop a particular video they were in possession of and to contact the person who was in the video to see if they were interested in purchasing the video before it became a public knowledge.”

After being asked to elaborate further by correspondent Laura Ingle, the lawyer claimed it was a “catch and kill” situation and that she “can’t explain” who the other person in the video was, describing the person as “more high-profile” than Combs.

“I’ve seen stills of the video, OK, so you can verify that it exists, that it’s real, that the other person in the video is very visible,” Ms Mitchell-Kidd said.

“It’s no question if it’s that person in the video, and I can tell the video was pornographic in nature.”

“And it does seem that the person isn’t, like, looking into the video,” she said.

“So, it’s, to me, doesn’t seem like that person knows they’re being videotaped. It doesn’t seem like they’re [an] active participant in the videotaping, like they’re being surreptitiously recorded.”

Ms Mitchell-Kidd said she will be “filing that lawsuit within the week”, and it is possible the identity of the person could be revealed if the case goes to trial.

Agnifilo revealed that the 54-year-old remains “remarkably” upbeat in his notoriously tough Brooklyn prison because he’s so focused on proving he’s not a sex trafficker.

“His state of mind is actually remarkably positive,” lawyer Marc Agnifilo told TMZ when reminded that the disgraced hip-hop mogul could spend more than a year behind bars before even reaching trial.

“I spend several hours with him every day. His resolve is strong, he’s engaged, he’s focused on his defence,” Agnifilo said in a new clip for TMZ’s “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.”

“He is so focused on trying to right his wrong that it’s actually giving him a form of strength and a form of confidence that I think is going to get him through a difficult time.”

During a raid of his homes in Miami and Los Angeles, investigators found 1000 bottles of baby oil and lube used during the mass orgies, which allegedly lasted days with the use of cocaine, oxycodone, Xanax, GHB, ketamine and MDMA.
