Kanye West apologises after antisemitic outbursts

Kanye West has attempted to repair his damaged reputation and career with an unexpected plea.

Kanye West has apologised to the Jewish community for a series of “unintended” antisemitic “outbursts”.

According to a report in the New York Post, West posted the message, which was written entirely in Hebrew, on Instagram on Tuesday local time.

“I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” read West’s message, translated from Hebrew.

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.”

West also said that forgiveness is “important” to him and that he’s “committed to making amends and promoting unity”.

West’s mea culpa comes weeks after his latest antisemitic tirade, which was captured on video, during which he ranted and raved about Donald Trump, Jesus and Adolf Hitler.

“It’s 60 million of us in America, 60 million Jews in the world,” he falsely stated in the video, which was posted by TMZ.

“Who’s going to make the hospitals, though? He’s a Zionist, Trump. This is what I’ve been trying to tell you. Jesus Christ, Hitler, Ye, third party, sponsor that.”

West, who is bipolar and has suffered mental health issues, went on to tell the crowd to “shut the f**k up” before yelling about how all the “rich f**ks” in the room have their kids enrolled “in Zionist schools” and blasting the private school his own children attend.

It comes after he held a listening party for new music, which also includes more antisemitic messaging.

“I still keep some Jews with me / Management? Nah / I only let ’em do my jewellery,” he rapped at a listening party as his daughter North West stood nearby.

North also witnessed her father wearing a KKK-style hood while addressing in new songs his previous antisemitic behaviour.

“How I’m antisemitic? I just f***ed a Jewish b***h,” he rapped.

In October last year, West was axed from his lucrative collaborations with Adidas, Balenciaga and Gap after he made a series of antisemitic outbursts.
