Pop music’s bad boy was performing at the SaskTel Centre in Canada when he tripped and fell through a hole in the stage, reports The Sun.

The 22-year-old’s faux pas occurred while the stadium was completely blacked out apart from a spotlight tracking the I’m Sorry singer’s every move.

Justin was walking up a runway with his fans screaming either side of him, before he tripped and disappeared and appeared to hit his head quite hard as he fell.

Despite the loud bang as the star came crashing down, the 13,000 strong crowd weren’t left worried for long.

The shocked singer poked his head up through the hole before pulling himself back up on stage.

He regained his composure and then said: “Good thing I’m like a cat and I landed on my feet! That scared the s**t out of me!”
