KANYE West will headline the “biggest bloody party” this small Victorian country town has ever seen — Except the rap superstar doesn’t know it yet.

IN THE Goulburn Valley of Victoria, in the heart of a region known for producing fruit, a country pub has announced Kanye West will headline the “biggest bloody party Tatura has ever seen” — but the rap superstar doesn’t know it.

The Tatura Hotel, near Shepparton in rural northern Victoria, shot to stardom when it asked “the internet” to fund its renovation by paying to name its chicken parmigiana, a single pokie machine or bar mats.

The pub’s 30 bar stools were also up for grabs, which sparked an idea to attempt to land the world’s most famous derrière — belonging to Kim Kardashian — on a seat.

“We thought we’d go one bigger and get Kanye involved,” said part owner Peter “Bugs” Ryan.

The pub has promised to throw the town’s biggest party if it hits its $65,000 target.

And while the rap superstar is billed to take centre stage, the fine print in a campaign video declares he will not be “performing live at the Tatura Hotel but we’d really like him to”.

It sparked #carnKanye and a video of some of Tatura’s 3500-odd locals calling on the rapper to lend the pub a hand.

“Bugs” told the Herald-Sun while the headline grabber may not perform, the pub would “put on some drinks and a feed” for the promised party.

“I don’t know Kanye as an artist to be quite honest with you,” he said.

“I’m not a rap person but it is all good fun and everyone else had heard of him which is the main thing.

“Carn Kanye help us out a bit mate ... carn”

The biggest fish in all of Tatura

The campaign has raised more than $28,000, with six days remaining.

An investor shelled out $2000 to have the pub’s front bar named after them, while a picture of another with the biggest fish caught in Tatura — photoshopping included — hangs on the wall.
