TOURING really is the key to making it in the music business these days — even if you’re just a blunt roller.

According to Billboard, touring revenue accounted for 80 per cent of the income earned by Top 40 acts last year.

But it’s not just the Miley Cyruses and Drakes who benefit from hitting the road: It’s roadies, stylists and even drug holders.

While the artists naturally see the biggest money from arena shows — anywhere from $3.3 million to $30 million for a 40-date headlining bill — everyone throughout their tour party benefits as well.

It’s reportedly common for major artists to have a “joint roller” on tour with them.

In a handy infographic, the magazine lays out all the different ways you can earn money on a tour, including handling set design ($25,000-$50,000 per tour), animating video ($1,000 per minute of footage) and shooting off fireworks ($1,000-$2,000 per week).

The most eyebrow-raising amount: An artist’s drug holder/blunt roller can clear around $500 a week, a “salary” that also includes travel and hotel expenses.

Of course, if one’s lucky enough to link up with Waka Flocka Flame, they can make a whole lot more.
