POP star Justin Bieber has posted a 90-second video rant online about the harassment he’s received from fans in Melbourne.

Bieber, who has been in the city less than 24 hours, blasted Melbourne fans over the way they have approached him for a photo.

“If you start screaming louder, that’s not going to make me want to take a photo more,” he said in the Snapchat video.

Bieber spent the day touring Melbourne after getting off the plane from Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old Canadian superstar delighted fans around the city on his day off, posing for photos and a quick chat despite being surrounded by security guards.

But later, he took to Snapchat to express his displeasure.

“The way you ask or approach me when you want a photo with me is going determine if I take a photo or not,” he said.

“If I’m walking somewhere or arriving somewhere and you guys are asking me to take a photo if I don’t respond, if I continue to keep walking, the likelihood is that I probably don’t want to take a photo at that moment.

“If you start screaming louder that’s not going to make me take a photo more.

“I want to enjoy the moment like you’re enjoying the moment but I can’t enjoy it if I’m not feeling there’s any respect given to me that moment.

“Usually the chances are I’ll take a photo but if perhaps I don’t or I’m not in the mood to take a photo that moment, please just respect me and just treat me the way you want to be treated.

“Honestly I’d rather stand there and talk to you there for five minutes and not take any photos us have that moment without the chaos.

“It’s like why did you travel to see me in the first place, was it really to see me or was it to get that moment of you seeing me so you could tell people about it.

“Just remember I’m not unattainable unreachable I’m just like you and I communicate just like you, so next time remember.”

Despite the rant, Bieber had earlier thanked fans for the reception he received in the city.

He tweeted: “Loving Australia. I’ve missed this place. Thanks for the welcome.”

After checking into his city hotel, Bieber first stopped for lunch at a Nando’s in South Melbourne.

He then headed to the beach on Beaconsfield Pde, before returning to his hotel and then getting on his skateboard for a ride around the Premier’s Office at 1 Treasury Place.

He was also seen playing tennis at his hotel.

At Nando’s, the entire store was closed down and protected by his several large body guards while Justin ate inside.

The store’s assistant manager, Sailesh Kalluri, 24, said he was shocked to see Justin walk in with his burly entourage.

“We got an anonymous call earlier that said to reserve the back table for six people for 11.45am ... But I had no idea it was for Justin Bieber,” he said.

Mr Kalluri said Justin Bieber was polite and came up to the counter to order his own meal.

“He asked for an original lemon herb burger with chips and a Coke ... He was really cool,” he said.

Mr Kalluri added that Justin looked tired and declined a picture because he was exhausted.

“He was really tired, which I guess is understandable having just flown in from the US ... I’m not a fan of his music but he’s a really cool guy,” he said.

His hotel was surrounded by his groups of fans, known as Beliebers.

Friends Isy, 18, and Ellie, 16, said they left their Ringwood East home at 4.30am to wait for Justin at the airport.

But the pop star dressed in a cream hoodie, grey shorts and red sneakers snuck out of a side door and into a waiting car about 10am.

Fans then followed him to the hotel and had been waiting all day for the chance of

getting a picture.

Isy said she was lucky enough to glimpse Justin skateboarding for a few minutes between his bodyguards.

“He was calm and polite but when people started chasing him he got pretty upset... We heard he went back in his room and is playing Xbox,” she said.

Bieber is in Melbourne for two days as he promotes his No.1 single, What Do You Mean?

Security is expected to be tight this afternoon at the Southern Cross Austereo rooftop in South Melbourne, where he will play to a select group of fans.

It’s a very different Bieber to when he was in Melbourne late in 2013 - back then he partied with locals and his concert received poor reviews.

He has had a change of heart since, ditching the bad boy ways and crediting his involvement in Australia’s Hillsong church with turning his life around.

Meanwhile, former Essendon skipper Tim Watson has revealed that he’s set to host an “international musical guest” to tonight’s Brownlow Medal at Crown Palladium.

Watson refused to be drawn on the guest’s identity, other than to confirm he’s male, prompting ribbing from his breakfast radio co-hosts that it was Bieber.

“I have got a role to play tonight, only a very very small role,” Watson said on SEN radio today.

“I’ve got to do a little bit of chaperoning tonight with an international musical guest that’s here in the country.

“I can’t say too much. I’m not saying I’m chaperoning the Biebster. He’s not the only international guest out here.”

American band Maroon 5 was also flagged as a possibility, with Watson saying he couldn’t comment further.

“No, I can’t say (who it is). I’m not at liberty to say,” he said.

“I can’t say any more than what I’ve already said. It will all be revealed tonight and I’ll talk about it tomorrow morning.”

Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is another potential guest for Watson, ahead of his performance at Saturday’s Grand Final.
