With an injection of $3.4 million anticipated for the local economy, the event is not just a celebration of Australian talent but also a boon for Queensland’s growing status as a cultural and entertainment hub.

Red Carpet
Over 1000 square metres of red carpet will be laid out, setting the stage for the arrival of A-listers to the ceremony.

The AACTA menu will feature over 60,000 canapes, showcasing finest local Queensland produce.
Attendees will enjoy heirloom tomato and Stracciatella bruschetta from Noosa, karaage chicken from the Glasshouse Mountains with sriracha mayo, Vietnamese herb and lemongrass chicken sweet chilli rice paper rolls, Thai beef salad with beef from Queensland cattle stations, wagyu meatball sandwiches, a selection of cured meats from Brisbane’s Saison meats, Hervey Bay scallop tartare, cheese and garlic stuffed mushrooms, sumac spiced cauliflower, Gold Coast prawn toast, and patatas bravas with Darling Downs potatoes.

Hosting the AACTA Awards is expected to inject $3.4 million into the local economy, according to Tourism Minister Michael Healy, highlighting Queensland’s capacity to host events of global stature.
“This event is expected to pump $3.4 million into the local economy, a vital contribution to the over 33,000 Gold Coasters employed in tourism,” Mr Healy explained.
Awards Night Schedule
The AACTA Industry Awards will kick off the festivities on Thursday, 8 February, followed by the main AACTA Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 10 February, with both ceremonies to be held at the Home Of The Arts on the Gold Coast. Awards will be handed out across a range of categories, celebrating the best in film, television, and more.
Who Is Hosting
Harry Connick Jr. will host the AACTA Industry Awards on Thursday night, with Rebel Wilson taking the stage for the main event on Saturday. Both ceremonies, promise an exciting line-up of presenters and performances.
