Hugh Jackman’s kids are struggling with the new family dynamic and have ‘mixed emotions’ about his rumoured girlfriend, a source claims.

Hugh Jackman’s children, Oscar and Ava, are reportedly navigating a difficult emotional landscape following their father’s separation from Deborra-Lee Furness and his rumoured new relationship with actress Sutton Foster.

A source close to the family shared with Woman’s Day: “It’s been hard for the kids, having to welcome Sutton into their father’s world with their own mixed feelings about it, while at the same time feeling guilty if they get too close.”

Jackman recently returned to Australia for the holidays with Oscar and Ava, where they spent time together at his luxurious Bondi penthouse.

Notably absent from this trip was Foster, who is reportedly spending the holidays in Los Angeles.

Jackman and Furness announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage.

Their joint statement emphasised their continued respect and love for one another: “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”

While the split initially appeared amicable, rumours of Jackman’s relationship with Foster surfaced during their time together in the Broadway revival of “Music Man” in 2021.

Speculation intensified when Foster filed for divorce from her husband in October of this year.

Despite the challenges, Jackman is prioritising his children, and a source revealed to Radar Online that Jackman feels it’s important for him to maintain that connection, even if it means spending less time with Foster. The situation is a “delicate balancing act,” as the source describes it.
