Australia Zoo transformed into an enchanted garden on Monday as Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell celebrated their daughter Grace Warrior’s third birthday.
Grace, the young wildlife warrior, was the star of the show, dazzling guests in her Aster and Oak primrose floral tutu dress paired with matching sneakers.
Among the attendees were the proud parents, Bindi and Chandler, key members of the Australia Zoo team, and a particularly charismatic cockatoo from the zoo, who served as a special guest.
The festivities were set against a stunning backdrop of a colourful floral arch, under which a pink animal-themed birthday cake took centre stage.
The little wildlife warrior was seen enjoying her new gifts, including an Ella unicorn hooded beach towel and capturing moments with her new yellow XCD kids mini camcorder.
But the celebration wasn’t confined to just the party. Australia Zoo went all out, hosting a range of events to mark the occasion, offering a range of activities to entertain visitors and celebrate the young conservationist’s big day.
Highlights included free entry for kids under 14 accompanied by a paying adult, live performances from characters Bluey and Bingo, and a croc feeding demonstration by Bindi and Chandler.
Absent from the day’s celebrations was Uncle Robert Irwin, who is currently in South Africa on assignment as the new host of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! Australia, which premiered the night before.
This year’s birthday celebration also coincided with another significant milestone for the Irwin family – Bindi and Chandler’s fourth wedding anniversary.
The couple, whose love story has captivated fans worldwide, tied the knot on March 25, in the early days of the coronavirus pandemic.
Their intimate ceremony at Australia Zoo, attended by a select few, including Bindi’s mother, Terri, her brother Robert, and Wes Mannion, a dear friend of the late Steve Irwin.
“4 years of marriage to the most wonderful, beautiful human️, I can’t wait to do more life with you. I love you,” Powell posted to Instagram on Sunday night to mark the four-year milestone.
