Gold Coast influencer and OnlyFans star Veruca Salt has hit back at trolls in an explosive video on TikTok after the sudden death of her baby.
Veruca Salt’s newborn son Cash Harrison Stirling died on Monday, with police launching an investigation. Gold Coast police superintendent Craig Hanlon said on Tuesday initial investigations indicated the baby’s death was not suspicious.
The 25-year-old, whose real name is Kimberley Summer Hartley, posted a video on TikTok overnight to respond to a comment which questioned her actions since her son’s death.
“No hate but I don’t know how people can make Tiktoks just after their kids have died like setting camera up, voice overs, editing … I would be in bed for weeks an absolute mess … RIP,” the comment read.
In the TikTok video, an emotional Ms Hartley hit back, saying no one had a right to judge her for how she was dealing with the tragedy.
You have no idea because your baby is not dead, mine is and I found him like that and it’s not happening to you,” she said.
“If it was happening to you, you would know that bed is the last place you want to be cause god forbid you f****** fall asleep, every time you wake up you’re going to forget and you’re going to go get your baby and he’s not going to be there.
“And you’re not going to want to go home to your bed, you’re not going to want to go home at all because your baby is all over the house.”
“You have no idea the things that are going on inside my head every five seconds. I feel insane, I feel crazy and you don’t get it.”
The video has been viewed more than 3 million times.
This morning, Ms Hartley returned to social media, posting a tribute to her son on TikTok set to Work Song by Hozier, with the lyrics “no grave can hold my body down, I’ll crawl home to her.”
The star altered the lyrics in her caption to “crawl home to him”, overlaid with footage of her baby boy smiling in his sleep.
The video attracted thousands of comments with one person who said “when one mother weeps, all mothers weep with her.”
